On Sunday, 19 April 2026, under clear and pleasant skies, HKICEC successfully hosted its first-ever Hiking Fun Day. Guided by our experienced hiking expert, Mr. Sang, members gathered in Tai Po before setting off together for Wu Kau Tang.

The route covered Sam A Tsuen, Lai Chi Wo, Kuk Po and Nam Chung, linking a series of distinctive Hakka villages with breathtaking coastal scenery. Along the way, members enjoyed tea breaks and shared fruit and snacks beneath the shade of ancient trees, accompanied by a gentle sea breeze. And although industry professionals can never quite escape their instincts—enthusiastically rating the scenery and photos as “A++ Grade”—everyone still found time to exchange views on market trends, social developments, and even life philosophies. It was a rare opportunity to step away from the city’s fast pace and savour a truly relaxing day in nature.

Special thanks to Mr. Sang for curating this wonderful journey, and to every member whose warm participation made the day truly memorable. We look forward to organising more enjoyable leisure activities in the future and creating many more wonderful memories together.
