In the end of November 2025, Our Chairman Mr. Jacky Tse represented the Chamber at the “Think Business, Think Hong Kong” (TBTHK) promotion event organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC). He joined Mr Paul Chan, Hong Kong SAR Government Financial Secretary, Prof Frederick Ma of the HKTDC Chairman, Mr Bernard Chan, the Chairman of the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority as well as over 90 delegates from government, business, creative industries, financial and professional services, investors, start-ups, and senior executives of Mainland Chinese companies based in Hong Kong. Together, they engaged with Italian enterprises seeking to expand into Asia, exploring opportunities for dialogue and collaboration. The event highlighted Hong Kong’s unique role as a “superconnector” and “super value-adder,” opening a broad gateway for Hong Kong and Mainland enterprises to Italy and across Europe.

The core objective of this visit is to promote Hong Kong as a vital platform for the Asian market and to deepen collaboration with Italy in key areas such as innovation and technology, financial services, and sustainable development. The program included symposiums, business matching meetings, one-on-one consultations, and dedicated networking activities, as well as visits to local enterprises to gain insights into their development.

Building Bridges in Electronic Communications, Opening Doors to the International Market
Jacky also took the opportunity to introduce the Chamber to participants and Italian business leaders, showcasing its representation and influence on the international stage. He actively promoted collaboration opportunities between Hong Kong and Italy in the electronic communications equipment sector, supporting the industry’s global expansion and opening new doors for its future development.
