With the Year of the Horse approaching, Chairman Mr Jacky Tse was invited by the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in Hong Kong to take part in the "2026 Spring Festival Reception." The grand event attended by Director Mr Zhou Ji of the Liaison Office, Chief Executive Mr John Lee, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC Mr Leung Chun-ying, and representatives from central government agencies in Hong Kong, the SAR government, the Legislative Council, the judiciary, and various sectors of Hong Kong society. In total, around 2,000 guests came together to celebrate the Chinese New Year.

During the event, Jacky participated in meaningful exchanges with Deputy Secretary for Justice Dr Cheung Kwok-kwan, Council Member Mr Or Chong Shing as well as several political and business leaders, cultivating professional relationships and exploring avenues for future collaboration. Additionally, Jacky presented updates on the Chamber's recent developments to Professor Sun Dong, Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, emphasizing the industry’s significance as one of the three primary pillars supporting Hong Kong’s economy. He advocated for increased policy and resource support to facilitate the Chamber’s ongoing growth and establish a robust foundation for its future progress.

At this Spring Festival Reception, our Chairman and HKICEC members will enhance communication with government and industry partners, align with policy trends, and pursue new opportunities. In the Year of the Horse, the Chamber will collaborate with members to boost Hong Kong’s economy and work toward shared prosperity.
