On December 19, 2024, the Hong Kong International Communications Electronic Chamber (HKICEC) was officially established, marking the emergence of a new industry organizational force in Hong Kong’s communication, electronics, and e-commerce sector. The establishment of HKICEC aims to integrate industry resources, build a platform for exchanges and cooperation, promote the alignment of Hong Kong’s communication, electronics, and e-commerce industry with international standards, and help the industry gain a more favorable position in the global market.

At the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Jacky Tse, the founding Chairman of HKICEC, and Mr. Jacky Chan, the Chief Secretary, delivered speeches. They emphasized that the chamber would actively play a role as a bridge and link, providing member enterprises with services such as industry information and organizing exchange activities, to promote the healthy and sustainable development of Hong Kong’s communication, electronics, and e-commerce industry.
