Following the engaging response to R2 Certification seminar last month, members expressed strong interest in gaining deeper insights into the practical aspects of the certification. We invited Executive Committee Member Mr. Tom Zhang to deliver the second seminar on 19 January 2026, where he shared detailed procedures and relevant operational insights. Vice Supervisor Mr. Calvin Cheung also shared his valuable information in the discussion.

In addition, Mr. Zhang addressed a common challenge faced by members—how to handle lost shipments when using courier services. Drawing from his own experience, he emphasized the importance of applying insurance at the time of procurement, noting that involving the insurance company in investigations is often far more effective than relying solely on the courier company. At the close of the event, our Executive Director Ms. Sally Fong presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Mr. Zhang , thanking him for providing members with practical and professional knowledge.

Post-event surveys revealed 100% satisfaction among participants regarding both the seminar topics and the speaker’s delivery. Members also suggested offering online seminars in the future to enhance flexibility and broaden participation.
